Here is another Bengali special old recipe Maan Kochu Bata
or Taro Root Paste. So, today we will learn one of forgotten recipes that is

Ingredients of Maan Kochu Bata:

1. Maan Kochu / Taro Root / Malanga coco (200 gm).
2. Mustard seeds (1 tbsp).
3. Green chilli (6 no).
4. Salt (as per your taste).
5. Coconut (½ part).
6. Roasted peanuts (2 tbsp).
7. Mustard oil (1 tbsp).
8. Lemon juice (1 no).

How to:

1. Peel and cut the maan kochu (taro root) into sizeable
pieces.

2. In a mixer grinder, put the maan kochu pieces, add coconut
pieces, green chillies, mustard seeds, roasted peanuts and salt and make a fine
paste.

3. Add some mustard oil and lemon juice and mix well. The
Maan Kochu paste is ready to be served with hot steamed rice!
